HUBs are the heartbeat of discipleship at The District Church. Whether you’re new to faith or have followed Jesus for years, HUBs help you move beyond casual Christianity into meaningful community and spiritual growth.

These small groups meet regularly to:

We believe in Jesus and follow Him together.

We put into practice what Jesus did.

Babies (0-23 months)

A cozy space where little ones receive loving care, play, and prayer.

Toddlers (2-3 yrs)

Kids explore God’s love through storytime, songs, and play.

Pre-K (4 yrs – Kindergarten)

Discover God’s story, begin verse memorization, and enjoy plenty of snacks and play.

1st–5th Grade

Build Bible skills, dive into Scripture, and ask meaningful questions in a fun and engaging setting.

Youth (6th–12th Grade)

Faith-building spaces designed to meet teens where they are.

What time should I drop off my kids?

Kids District opens 15 minutes before the service begins. This gives you time to check them in, meet their leaders, and get settled in the main service.

Can my child stay with me during the service?

Absolutely. We want both you and your child to feel comfortable. If theyʼre not ready to join Kids District just yet, thatʼs totally fine.

What kind of safety measures are in place?

We take safety seriously. All volunteers are background-checked and trained. Every child is securely checked in and out, and each classroom has strict pick-up procedures.

What if my child has special needs?

Weʼd love to work with you to make sure your child feels welcome and supported. Let us know during check-in or contact us in advance so we can prepare.

I'm new—can I still join a HUB?

100%! HUBs are for anyone, whether youʼve just started coming or have been here for years. Weʼll help you find one that fits your season of life and schedule.

What happens at a typical HUB meeting?

Most HUBs include time to connect socially, read and discuss Scripture, pray together, and plan ways to serve others. Every group is a little different, but they all center around community and spiritual growth.

Are there HUBs for couples or specific life stages?

Yes! We have HUBs for singles, married couples, parents, young adults, and mixed-age groups. Thereʼs something for everyone.

What if I try a HUB and itʼs not a great fit?

No problem—just let us know. Weʼll help you find another group that works better for you. No pressure, no awkwardness.

I've never served before. Where should I start?

Start with what excites you! If youʼre not sure, weʼll talk with you about your gifts and interests to help you find the right fit.

How much of a time commitment is volunteering?

It varies by role. Some teams serve every week, others rotate monthly. Weʼll work with your schedule to make it manageable.

Can I try something before fully committing?

Yes—you can shadow a team or serve for a trial period before committing long-term. We want you to love where you're serving.

Do I need to be a member to serve?

You donʼt have to be a member to start serving in many areas. For leadership roles or teaching, we may ask for a bit more commitment first.

Are events family-friendly?

Most of them are! We love creating space for everyone—kids, teens, and adults—to connect and have fun.

Some events require registration, especially if thereʼs food or childcare involved. Check the Events page for details on whatʼs coming up.

Can I invite friends who donʼt attend District Church?

Please do! Events are one of the best ways to introduce someone to the community in a low-pressure, fun environment.
